Personal Bio
Ryan and Larissa Smith both grew up in the small town of Mercersburg, PA, but did not officially meet until they were in their early 20s. They dated for 6 years before getting married, living in Boston, Colorado, Idaho, and Texas, before moving back to their hometown. Ryan studied photography and visual communications at Colorado Mountain College and University of Idaho, respectively. Larissa studied music at Berklee College of Music and got her Masters of Music at the University of Texas at Austin. They now live with their dog, Sadie, in Mercersburg, running their photography business out of their home. They serve on the board of the Mercersburg Council for the Arts, which they helped to spearhead (www.mcfapa.org). Larissa also does freelance writing and has a band with her sister called The Hello Strangers (www.myspace.com/thehellostrangers).
