Launching my business

In October 2008, I took a leap of faith with a business plan, my favorite mechanical pencil, laptop computer, my love of technology, accounting background, saved invested dollars, and my pink spiral notebook full of thoughts, hopes, and dreams. I've always wanted to make a significant difference in this world, make a path way for the little guys, for women who were too afraid to compete in the business world on their own. Weeks later, my growth began when a local newspaper reporter called me & wanted to do a story on my company! I yearned for the growth that I knew would come. My time was spent organizing my team which followed in weeks after the story and planning for the employees and new clients I anticipated on having within the next month. Shortly after, I moved the laptop to my first office downtown Denton, Texas. A year later, we found our company expanding to a remote location in Dallas, Texas. How exciting the watch the growth, the love, the passion, the prayers of our company- starting with a leap of faith and a pink spiral notebook!
