Growing my business

After 20 years as a W-2 employee, I never thought launching my own tax practice would be so much fun.  My background includes 6 years in Sales and Marketing, 13 years in Public Accounting, and 1 year in Private Industry as a Controller.

I am back in school getting my MBA in Accountancy while growing my business.  After preparing about 40 Personal 2009 Tax Returns, I am adding a few Partnerships and small LLC's to increase my revenues a little more quickly.  Although I broke even my first season, I am looking forward to tripling my revenues in 2010.

Advice for others

It's not how many times you get knocked down, but rather how many times you get back up that matters.
