I love it. I want to start a business like this :o)
These bottles are awesome at so many levels. I use mine daily at work and love the cool, refreshing taste - while helping our environment. Aren't win/win scenarios always THE BEST!!!??!!!
Great to see businesses like yours heading in the right direction, aka environmentally responsible. My vote is with you!
What a great story and a great company. Saving our world one water bottle at a time - our consumer choices DO make a difference!
Since we've outfitted the entire family with our Pura bottles I've crossed off the case of bottled water from my Costco shopping list! Less to haul and store and good for the environment, too!
I was shocked to find out how much oil it takes to make a plastic water bottle!
Great company and a great product!!
How inspiring to create a product and a company that supports sustainable lifestyles on so many levels
Great idea. K, L, J-P and I hope you win.
Love the colors of the bottles and the unusual shape (design). Great video and cool music!
Very cute and funny!
Thanks for the information regarding the waste of oil.
Great video Roger & Jen. We love Pura!

Very informative video that may be the start of changing a culture of unnecessary waste. Bottled water marketing has misled the consumer and it is time for a change.

What a fun video!! I wish more folks could be informed about the tremendous waste that goes on all around us. Good luck with the business!! We need more simple, but brilliant ideas like this.
Your research, added to your caring for our environment; for all our current as well as future earth beings, makes your product number 0NE in my book!
Love the video - i like it when i learn something new!
Great Video. Powerful simple idea. I carry my pura bottle with me everywhere and have not used a plastic bottle since I got it. The fundraising potential for groups and charities is fantastic. It is great to see the American entrepreneurial spirit harnessed for environmental good.
Those little boys are so cute!
These are great bottles-I use mine daily and now I feel even better about doing so after seeing this video. How many people know how much oil it takes to create a plastic water bottle? Scary.
Thinking ahead and promoting now a great solution to this plastic bottle problem.
hope you win!
Love your concept and product!! We love our Pura bottles. One life one bottle.
Excellent storytelling. Good use of graphics and transitions, and getting kids involved. Good production quality overall. Only downside is that the actual product doesn't appear clear on screen. Would recommend some good product shots with a professional photographer. I hope this is one of the final round selections.
Your video and most importantly your product is awesome. Imagine if every body took small efforts like you. I really like how the whole bottle is stainless steel including the cap.
Good Luck.
What a lovely message! Lets all go stainless, the water even tastes better.
How did you find such cute kids! I love the combo of conservative and liberal generating such a great idea!
Health, sports and environment...Hard to find better priorities than those, for business and consumer alike. Great message and superb products!

Great video with ALL the right info to support your message - and Thank You for your efforts, ideas and commitment!
The video is informative and the story line is great. I have 2 of these Pura bottles and take mine with me everyday, I am in and out of my car all day long
so I fill it with ice and water in the morning so I have fresh water when I am out and about. There great and conveinent.
This video is just the inspiration I needed to kick the bottled water habit. The convenience of bottled water is not worth the degradation of our natural resources - thanks for the reminder.
Finalist story from rpmooreii:
Once upon a time there was a surly conservative who married a golden haired liberal. Now these two people seem to never agree on anything related to politics, the environment or even the basis for viable business. That is until one day when the liberal said “these plastic bottles that our kids use have been shown to leach a nasty substance called BPA that has been linked to developmental problems in kids as well as breast cancer in women”. The ever skeptical conservative did a bit of research and, sure enough, plastic cups and water bottles are rife with the stuff.
A search for alternatives resulted in stainless steel bottles, but the technically trained Dad was perplexed as to why all of these bottles still had a plastic cap. “What is the point of using a non-plastic bottle if you are still drinking through a plastic cap” exclaimed the frustrated conservative. “We can do better”. A bit more research led the couple, who for years had been arguing about the economics of “green” living, to the sad realization that 38 billion plastic water bottles end up in landfills every year; enough to circle the globe 150 times and it takes 700 years for them to decompose. Just as disturbing was the fact that a single 1 liter bottle requires 5 liters of water and ¼ liter of oil to manufacture and costs 9,000 times that of tap water. Sadly, this incredible waste of natural resources is perpetuated by Madison Ave marketing hype as one realizes that 40% of bottled water is simply tap water and the vogue “island waters” have an absurd carbon footprint.
For once the ever skeptical dad and the liberal damsel saw eye-to-eye; there is no analysis, politically-based bias or expert opinion needed: bottled water is ravaging our planet and wasting scarce natural resources. Furthermore, the chemicals that ooze from reusable plastic containers and the funky linings in aluminum bottles have been proven to cause health problems and are clearly not appropriate for kids.
As a result, Pura Stainless was created with a simple vision: to make a difference by responsibly manufacturing a safe & durable alternative to plastic cups and the ever-present bottled water. The company has prospered by providing cost effective lifestyle products that convey a compelling message to all who see them; one that conservatively says “I am doing my part to make our planet better and safer for future generations”. In these dire economic times, we cannot afford to feed our kids from nasty plastic bottles; nor can we afford to waste natural resources and create vast amounts of garbage in the name of convenience.
Now back to our couple and the moral of the story: the best ideas and the most grounded businesses come from a diversity of opinion, a willingness to listen, and a clear understanding of the facts.
Pura One Life… One Bottle©
The moral of our story is: a) a diversity of ideas leads to a better company and b) the key to a viable business is to uniquely solve real problems. While this sounds simple, it is often difficult to see through personal bias and product ideas that, while interesting, do not solve compelling problems. Our founders were able to meld the best of conservative and liberal thought to create products that solve the far reaching issues of toxin leaching plastic bottles and the bottled water addiction

Great story and I love how the video shows that you have been able to combine a much needed business with a great lifestyle. I hope you win!!
