Well Done!
Brilliant idea for creating REAL conversations about what's important to people. Leave the bullet points behind! Love it!
Definitely inspiring, I think communicating your story is the key to all success.

wonderful!
I'm inspired! It's great to see and I love the conversational tone of this production. I feel like I am in the room with these people. Like we are all sitting around together sharing an important discovery about connections.
Well done.
Fabulous, Eric. Storytelling is also the foundation of good teaching, on many levels. Love it.
Great video, hope you win! Great for fundraising!
As a Walt Disney World Cast Member, I know all about story telling. It's what we do here at the parks everyday, and that seems to be working out pretty well for us since 1955!!! So, good job, Act3!
nice, nice job. Good content, good presentation.
very inspiring - keep it up
Great successfull story
Excellent production quality. Good speakers. Wonderful storytelling. Background music is on the loud end and overwhelming. They should have toned it down for the middle at least.
Well done. Good aural experience; the story is well told, and the music adds a lot to it!
ACT3 sounds like a very good story... the best actually: The story of our Stories!
Sounds, absotlutely, like the true vehicle to good education and communication.
great job. very inspiring!
This video in of itself told a compelling story! Great Job!
Memorable. Thanks for sharing.
Great video!
Inspiring video!
Story telling is a powerful way to create a high functioning, unique organization. See writing by Jon Katzenbach.
Forceful, engaging and inspiring. It teaches the power of telling stories the way only theatre can.
Ah, the rare communications professionals who can actually communicate! Love it!
Wonderful job by Act3, capturing the genius of Metro Theater and the genius of Act3 in 4 minutes!
We are starting an Arts and Entertainment Counsil in our community and this is great information that will help us in our activities.
The video is well done - its architecture is well done and message is clearand motivating.
Solid summary in just a few minutes. Great job!
Great video. Love the conversations with real people.
mas que un teatro
What a great story. Amazing what great benefits can accrue from listening to your customers!
Very well done and very informative
Bravo! Well done!
This video is grounded in facts that serve to inspire the viewer to action and involvement. Its scenes show a story against dialogue that weaves a wonderful tale. It provides insight into ACT III and the Metro Theater Company with touch points to who they are, what they do, how they do it, why they do it, and the lives touched.
Act3 delivers value and this video is proof. Quicken should be so lucky as to align with an organization like Act3 on a variety of levels. Give them the prize...
marvelous.
This video demonstrates that one of the best ways to communicate your message is through stories. A good story will tap into people's emotions and trigger them to action. What is intriguing about this video is that it tells two stories--how the Metro Theatre Company was able to use a narrative to tap into its base of support to raise money AND how Act3 was able to help them find their unique stories. Good job!
act3 is the greatest thing since act2! Seriously though, the concept behind act3 is so brilliantly simple yet powerful that I'm amazed it's been overlooked for hundreds of years. Two inspired thumbs up!
You got to the heart of their mission and their own story. Nicely done!
Excellent Work. I will recommend Act3 to all of my clients
It's amazing to me that more organizations and companies don't spend more time focusing on the magic of stories. In an age where we are blasted with advertising from every angle, it is nice to see a fresh new approach to communication strategy.
Awesome Story!
Love it!
Great company filling a great need!
very engaging - It didn't feel like four minutes had passed. Great story!
Very inspiring, full of energy.
I liked the simplicity of the video. Just a white background with people telling their story of finding their story. Magnifique!
everyone loves hearing a good story. great concept.
What an inspiring story.
Great emphasis on a neglected aspect of communication--engaging the viewer via the medium of stories.
Finalist story from act3eric:
Melissa Daniel remembers when Metro Theater Company came to Maple Grove Elementary.
“I remember how exciting it was when Metro came to school,” she says. “We all piled into the gym. You could hear a pin drop. I remember thinking, ‘I could do that! I could be that!’ Having those amazing actors so close to me made anything seem possible.”
Melissa’s parents exposed her to the arts, but “Lots of other students in my school didn’t have experiences like I did. Maple Grove always had many students on the free lunch program. For those kids, the chance to see professional theater happened only because our principal brought it to us.”
Today Melissa Daniel is the new principal of Maple Grove. But Metro hadn’t been there in years. So when a teacher showed her a brochure and asked, “What do you think about bringing them back?” Melissa remembered the flame the arts ignited in her.
“That’s what we’re looking for as educators, ways to ignite a flame. If we don’t find ways to make our kids feel connected, they miss out on something much more important than we can provide by just meeting test standards. Theater and the arts help kids make those connections. It’s never too early for kids to think about what they might want to do, what they might want to be.”
act3 is about making connections, too. We help people tell their stories and use stories to connect with their audience.
Metro was struggling to get donors to see why their work mattered. We helped them uncover the story they could tell about themselves, and use stories, not mission statements, to show their value.
In the process, we also helped change the organizational culture. Their managing director recently wrote to us, “Because of our project with act3, I was inspired to begin a new tradition. We now start every staff meeting with ‘story time,’ where we take a few minutes to tell tales from the week.
“This week, our office manager told us about the call she took from Melissa Daniel about booking a show. It sounded like a great story, so we followed up to learn more. (Which I might not have done before, either.) Part of what I love about how this unfolded is who brought it to the fore. You don't expect your office manager to deliver you such a powerful story. Clearly her having a forum to do so is why she did.
So, I have to thank you again for all that you're doing with us. The mission you are on matters too. If an organization is only as good as its stories, then you've helped us discover that we're sitting on gold mines.”
* Unique Value Propositions are great. But they don’t move people like stories do.
* If there is passion in your organization, there are stories behind it. Find ways to make everybody a storyteller.
* Sometimes, we all need help to see and understand the power of our own story. When we first worked with Metro, they thought not owning a theater and working primarily in schools was a liability. We helped them see it as an advantage, and helped them learn to explain it to others through story.

What a great story about the power of stories!
