You've captured the spirit and fun of Kaizen Farm. Congratulations.
The video turned out awesome!! Great job!
This video was terrific! I liked the way you showed the children working with the horses and smiles they had on their faces. The song was wonderful! Everything was uplifting and yet was filled with the reality that things were not always going to be rosy! You made sure the whole farm was captured in the video and that was great-even the office. I thought it was great! Good luck!

This was really good. I enjoyed watching it. good job
I love how this music video mirrors the written story so beautifully!! Very inspiring & mixed with just the right touch of humor, reality & that personal touch! It was real & therefore, made me see how in any context, this principle of a solo act becoming a duet can & will work! Keep on Kim & Sarah!!
Kim ~ Great Video and great story of growing the business and growing the kids! Good luck! ~ Erin

Terrific!! The video truly captures the essence of Kaizen Farm! Incredible job Kim & Sarah!
Well done. Found this to be inspiring, sweet and fun. Good to see the kids learning what they love. Good to see the teachers sharing what they love. Having been a visitor to the farm, it was a joy to see the faces of those we have met and the sights that identify Kaizen Farm - glad Thunder was in it, also! Onward and upward.
I'm ready to grab my kids and come check it out.
What a great way to inspire teamwork and taking the risk to grow! Thanks for sharing it with us. :)
Great job ladies and that video sums it up! Your headed in the right direction and those of us who know you, appreciate all you do each and every day!
My daughter has been riding at this farm for almost 6 years, so we have seen first hand how much better it is for Kim to have a partner/friend to share this venture with. Going it alone was SO much work. While it is still A LOT of work at least she is not alone anymore! This video follows that story just as it has happened. It is so true - good job on telling your inspiring story of going from a "one man shop" to a "business"! It is a giant leap and & you guys are doing a great job! Congrats!
What a fun video and what an awesome small business you have! It seems that God brought the two of you business partners together to bless many families. "No, Nay, Never! No more playing the Lone Ranger."
The video is awesome, everyone works together so well.
Very clever and full of talent. It is obvious the kids had a ball as did the two of you. Good luck with the competition.
Fun pictures, great to see the students!
Looking good!

Fun and inspirational! Good luck.
Job well done ladies. You tied everything together nicely with the song and video. Great shots of the farm and your students and the activities/responsibilties they have to learn. I'm generating as much positive energy as I can to help you win this grant. Your cousin Shemar.
I'm very impressed! It looks like you're doing a great thing there at the Kaizen Farm!!! Congrats!
the video fits the song very well and i like how everyone is happy and the children help out.
Great video. Very inspiring.
hey - I want my next riding lesson at Kaizen Farm...
Cute video! Reminds me of taking the girls out to the farm to see the new baby goats a couple of years ago.
very cute, loved it!
Great job, Kim and Sarah! I loved the humor and the way you depicted team work (between the two of you and your students). It was such fun to watch.

Awesome! Luck to your future.
Kim, You have come a long long way since you got me on a horse and I got both of us thrown (early college days). Keep up the good work. Anne
I loved it, reminds me of all the times my Aunt helped me out and I helped her while I was on my winter/spring/summer vacations at her house. Also reminds me that we need to be open to working as a team, you dont always have to do everything yourself. GOOD LUCK!!
What an awesome video! Great job! It's been awhile since my daughter's been out to ride. It is fun to see what has been going on since we've been out there! The video touches the heart!
Awesome! I really like it. It's funny initially but very inspiring afterwards.
I've never ridden a horse in my life but this video made me want to sign up for lessons. I loved the footage, the song and the energy. It was fantastic.
Having spent time at Kaizen Farm with my niece and my sister I know what a special place it is and what a great experience Kim and Sarah provide for everyone who rides with them, young and old. The video said it all.
My daughter loved horses and now she's gotten my granddaughter hooked as well. Kaizen seems like a great place to learn and I'm glad I don't have to pay for it anymore.
Great to see an old friend doing so well with something she loves. Good luck Sarah and Kim
Nice to see the influence of Huntley School of Equitation spreading around the world. Great video. Keep up the good work.
It is great to watch this video over and over. This time I felt tears because I am so proud of Kim and Sarah. And I laughed as well.
Nice Vedeo!! Really Cool!
What an inspiring story! What a tribute to two lovely, bright, gracious women, who love horses and understand, first hand, the healing they can bring and the confidence they can lend, to others. I've watched and experienced the way these women engage children and adults in the journey of forming a responsible partnership, with a magnificent animal...and creating a community of like-minded sojourners. Best wishes, Kim and Sarah on the work you do in people through horses and your generous hearts!
Very cute way of showing your business!
Go Kaizen!!
Kim good video! It is a lot of work and fun running your own business. Great job and good luck now and in your future.

Finalist story from Kaizen:
A “One Man Band” might describe a lot of small business owners. We do fine solos but the scores are often limited and lack those satisfying harmonies. I’ve been a one man band as the sole proprietor of an equine business for ten years. Events in 2007 brought me face to face with the serious need to change the solo act. I was breaking ice on 15 water buckets every morning whilst all my records were done in long hand with the promise to computerize “next year”. My frustration level was increasing as I felt unable to present my ideas in a professional manner let alone manage the work load. The final blow was literally to my head. Bringing in a pony on a frozen evening I must have taken a fall, for my helmet was shattered and I had lost 3 hours of memory. My family gave me 100% support in the decision to expand to a partnership, because riding alone was no longer an option.
Whilst donating time in a non profit I had found my soul mate. She shared my love of horses and the desire for continuous improvement. She had expertise that complemented my business and so we explored the idea of a duet. “Don’t do it” we were told. “Friends can’t be business partners.” We ignored them all and the first notes of our new song were starting but could we sing in tune?
For me, the challenge was learning to get out of my own way. Accepting my limitations and letting my partner use her strengths should have been easy but it was not! Our first adventure was remodeling the tack room. I had grand schemes but she wondered about the details. Which wall for the bridles and how much space to give them? How many saddles do we actually need? Her questions came barreling along, and with it our first conflict. We both walked away from the entire project for some time to think and to choose. Would we cling to defensiveness and personal agendas, or accept each other's strengths and weaknesses? We chose harmony which brought about our efficient tack room saving work every day and reminding us that we do better together.
Learning to be a back up singer didn’t happen immediately. When she whipped out a spread sheet showing our projected profit/loss, my brain wanted to climb into a corner and call myself a [removed]. I had to switch my thinking to “Wow, what a talented partner, doing in minutes what would have taken me hours!” But when she won the area division for a show series on one of my horses, then I experienced the joy of the shared win. It was her ribbon but it also felt like mine. I had found her win was my win! It is a fact that a pair of horses in harness can pull more than double what a solo horse can. My business has shown the same results with increased clients, updated accounting, improved communications, reduced work loads, improved equestrian skills, and satisfied customers. Our favorite duet is found in the anese phrase “kaizen” which means continuous improvement on a daily basis. This has become our joy, the music every day with all who come to Kaizen Farm.
If you want your business to become greater than yourself, I recommend growing it into a partnership sooner rather than later. It will mean letting things go and taking risks because you must rely on others and incorporate ideas that are not your own. But only do it with someone you really trust because a business partner that is also your friend is a priceless treasure.

Great song!
