<p>I Was Paralyzed by Fear</p><p>My only thought as I barely managed to stand, clinging to the table at my birthday dinner was, “in six months I’ll be in a wheel chair, in a year I’ll be dead.” I had no idea what was wrong; no idea how to help myself, and it was getting progressively worse. It later became clear that an immobilizing, mind numbing and potentially life destroying fear was the cause.</p><p>A year and a half before that night a concept for a jewelry line came to me during meditation. I began immediately to create two of the pieces, took them to an event where the reception was wonderful. My response? I was completely petrified. It was the beginning of the path to that birthday dinner, the word ‘petrified’ describing both my mental state and the resulting state of my body.</p><p>My Health Deteriorated</p><p>The physical problems continued to worsen as the self-destructive mental chatter led me to seek solace in food and TV. I was stuck in a downward spiral and saw no way out.<br /></p><p>The answer came in a surprising manner only 6 weeks later. A decision to follow my dreams dramatically altered my emotional state, and I began to heal.</p><p>How Jewelry Saved My Life</p><p>The decision to finally embrace my dreams was inspired by someone simply encouraging me to create the rest of the Transformational Jewelry line and bring it to an event in a short 3 months. I did everything I could to prepare for the event, hoping that I would have the mental fortitude and physical stamina to follow through.</p><p>An amazing thing happened when I made the decision to simply try. Within a few weeks my body began to shift, one night I felt warm and tingly and suddenly I could move more freely. I lay in bed that night and cried with gratitude for two hours. The pieces in the Transformational Jewelry line became part of my everyday life, as I began to live the gratitude I wore on my wrist and expect the miracle that was on my finger.</p><p>I Overcame my Self-Defeating Behavior</p><p>Now, about a year and a half later, I am still headed in the right direction. My body continues toward wellness, and the Transformational Jewelry line, which quite literally saved my life, is being shared with people all over the world. I now know that the resolution to the horror I experienced was to take a chance on myself. For months I let fear stop me, now I have learned to notice it, then find the passion and excitement that is there as well and use it to move forward. As I choose to take the chance on myself everything else in my life flows.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
