Great Vid. I really dig the fact that you want to create Eco Friendly products that are not tested on animals.

As a health and environmentally-conscience consumer (a steadily growing demographic), I want a natural, eco-friendly make-up line that doesn't test on animals or use animal products in their ingredients. There are are a few out there already, but none, I believe, that focus on making the consumer look damn good while wearing it. I totally believe that Perry Foulke can accomplish this with whatever grant you give her. She is smart and talented, and she knows what women (and men) our age want.

I loved it Perry - I would love to see you create a line of makeup that is not only eco-friendly but also makes women feel beautiful! I would buy it tomorrow! Good Luck to you

Really great story, Perry. I think your idea for creating an eco-friendly makeup line is brillant.

I know there are other animal friendly makeup products, but I think creating something that will also stand up against other makeup brands (colors,coverage) is a really great idea. People should be more pro-active like you and demand better quality in their makeup lines

Great make up and very professional pictures. From a business perspective, I don't necessarily find this video inspiring or useful to other business owners compared to some of the others.

You say you want to make eco-friendly make-up products, but your video has not given me any clue to how you intend to do so! This dream of yours needs a business plan to become reality, but your video does not convince me you have any...

Your video makes clear that you want to make eco friendly make up products, but gives no clue as to how you intend to do that... If you tell me you want to fly to the moon, than you will have to show me your rocket, before you convince me you actually can! ;-)

I like the eco/animal friendly plan. I feel we should always try to strike a balance between being the individual through fashion, music, etc yet be responsible for our existence in the group (the planet in general).

Hi lornadoone, I've been really lucky to have great friends and family members...Both my father and i are in the industry together (my father for 20+ years), and we know some really amazing people who believe in me and have passed along the info to modeling agencies, other photographers, and peers. Interesting concept. So you want to compete with companies like Aveda, hire an industrial chemist etc, build your own company and move away from being a makeup artist if you win a grant? Hi David3. Yes I would be competing with companies such as Aveda, but obviously I am aware that it will take some time before my company would be at the level that Aveda is at. Initially, my company will start out small, selling in boutiques in major cities and available online. As my product client base grew larger, I would like to sell in major makeup stores such as Sephora and Ulta. I don't plan on straying away from being a makeup artist, as it is my passion, and want to do it for the rest

of my life, but I also want to have my company prosper and give the public a really great makeup line. I aim to do both, and I believe I am hardworking enough to make both my makeup line and my professional job as successful as I can.

Also make-up is not something that big of a concern. I mean c'mon, there are much more important things in life than how you look!

Kingteror, I don't believe I've shown too many random people, it is work that I have done and am proud of, and shows the diversity I am capable of doing. I believe the more people I work with (skin types, face shapes, etc) will play a large role in helping me make my line and I can take different factors into consideration. And sure, MANY things are more important than makeup, but I believe any small steps that I can take in helping animals, and the enviroment, will just add to the overall

picture. Thanks for your concern though.

Perry, if you are not already "doing things to help animals" and working towards social consciousness in the environmental movement you may not want to play that card. It is a hard sell. In times of recession the makeup industry has done well. The reason for this is that for a relatively low cost it can make people feel better about themselves. THAT is what is in it for the world should you start a business. Play that card! If you are a great makeup artist you make people feel good every day.
