Hi, my name is Corey Jones and i'm a young man from Decatur, Georgia with a dream to be successful in the music business. I know that sounds familar with alot of people with the same dream in a hard business to get into but, I feel like this is what im born to do. Im the average dude who has recently made some goals and plans to achieve them. I've been out of high school for five years now and I have been from job to job. Falling down on hard times still living with my mom, I decided to get up and do something about it. I can't wait on a job to come around to finance myself like I want and I can't keep being out in the streets forever so I took my dream and my passion and went to school for what I love, Music. Earlier this year I enrolled into Omnitech Institute for audio engineering. Audio engineering has a wide variety of jobs but music is my passion, but in the meantime of me trying to find employment in this field, im in the process of starting my publishing company to offer my services as a mixing/recording engineer. Im also certified with computers and I do that on the side when I can find work, but I really want to be able to put myself out there as an producer/beatmaker. I have plans on promotion and marketing like business cards, going out networking with artist and the Internet because this is the new age of computers. My only problem is funding for equipment to make my music and continue to get better at it. While at school, I learned about software and hardware and what it is going to take to start off with a basic production setup to start making and promoting my music. That is what is holding me back at this time, it is a expensive industry but I know im going to make it because I have the knowledge and plan on what im going to do and how its going to be done. Im welling to take donations of old equipment or work to make the money that is takes to do what I love. Once I get up a little money to invest in my business, with hard work and dedication, it will work. I started Billionaire Girls Club in April 2006.  I was fresh out of highschool and had a burning desire to achieve the seemingly unsurmountable. During my senior year of  high school, I realized that the real world would be calling soon and I'd have to be there to answer. Growing up as the middle child I was content with my rebellious ways and "out of the box" thinking ability. College seemed like a great idea where I could meet new friends and learn more about a career in fashion but the desire to run my own business and become an entrepreneur at an early age outweighed  all the external pressures to meet my FINAL deadline for financial aid. FAFSA form  aside,  I chose the road less traveled. I called in my two best friends to assist me in executing my plan to start the hottest t-shirt and women's apparel clothing line backed by a giving  based business model. Sooner than later, BGC became the most sought after clothing line in our local community.  My idea was to first build rapport with my target audience and create  anticipation for the upcoming collection. We began hosting events to market our products and engage our consumers in community events to support BGC's global initiative. The popularity surrounded around our brand was immense.  Months into our vastly growing empire, I began to notice a shift in business structure  and work ethic in my "friends".  Meetings were being missed and task soon abandoned. "My friends" who both held VP titles of the company were displaying a lack of motivation and ambition for the world of entrepreneurship.  Ironically, they were never late to a photoshoot, event or the opportunity to present their image to the public. I soon realized, that this was not the ideal situation I thought I had created.  Handing my friends and "easy pass" was not in the best interest  of BGC but for that of my own. I founded Lifetime Reel after sitting down with his grandfather and re-living old stories. He pulled out the video camera and began recording his whole life-story on film. I felt the value of this product and knew that he wanted to let others experience what his family was able to share. Soon after sitting down and recording the story of his grandfathers’ life – my grandfather passed away and now his story is preserved for generations to come. I have been trying to start my business part time while I work full time.  I got laid off therefore any money that I had to put into the business is gone.  I have to work with $926.00 with is what Little money I have left.  I don't have a website yet because I don't have the money to get one, so I made a deal with the Web developer to bring him business at 20% to cover the cost of my website.  I want to help people make money, my business is in direct sales specifically women.  The can purchase form me at very low cost women's underwear and create "Underwear Parties" to show merchandise.  So far I have only 2 sales people.  I need more but I am low in inventory and need also to place some ads in craigslist to get more people involved.  I am not williung to take a partner right now becuase I know I will succeed!   aXKtowIbar3PKzacfA8pyY

My college buddy and I started Sconnie Nation in the spring of 2004 while freshmen at UW-Madison. As freshmen, we had always used the word “Sconnie” as a fun loving way to refer to anyone from Wisconsin or anything Wisconsinesque. The idea popped into their heads – why not just put Sconnie on a T-shirt? While not responsible for coining the term, we thought there was a market to successfully brand the term and bring it into the mainstream.  To begin, we each contributed $300 of our personal savings to form a cash pool of $600. With that investment, we ordered 80 shirts of two different styles from my partner’s screen printing contact – Underground Printing. During the summer of 2004, Sconnie Nation setup its first website at sconnie.com. We constantly reinvested profits from the T-shirt batches to fund our operations and growth. This allowed us to add new styles, including girls’ styles and headwear. Underground Printing ("UGP") remained a close partner with Sconnie Nation throughout our short history.  At the same time, UGP was experiencing great growth. They started on a course of opening retail storefronts on Big Ten college campuses. Looking forward, UGP knew they wanted to one day expand to Madison. In the summer of 2007, UGP purchased Sconnie Nation’s custom screen printing business. Part of that deal granted Sconnie Nation the use of retail store space at their new State St. location (521 State St.). The store opened its doors in July, 2007, with the first Sconnie merchandise being made available one month later. The State St. store has helped us focus on our core business – Sconnie apparel. It all started about three years ago when my dad and i where visiting one of his old friends. gene  ( his old friend) said "you know there is a big market for business's like this you should start you're own. All my dad and i could talk about was shop this shop that and seeing stars. but where back down on earth now fighting and trying to get our customers and a shop of our own.
